Parent Helpers - We love our parents to stay and help out, bringing siblings is OK. Regular parent helpers need to get a governemt Workign wiith Children Check number. This is free.. Also fill out an A2 Scouts form https://www.nsw.scouts.com.au/members-services/state-forms/. We are all volunteers at Scouts so your help is most welcome, whether it's helpingl with crafts, supervision, cleaning up the hall at the end of the night and or wiping down surfaces.
Our caps ($15.00) are available to buy at the hall. The caps are a must in summer as we do lots of outdoor activities. The calico bags ($5.00) are for snacks, water bottles and jumpers etc. Please write your childís name on the front of the bag so itís clearly visible. We will get them to hang them on the hooks when they come in. Please put sunscreen on your child before they come for outdoor activities.
Snacks - Please donít forget to bring a water bottle, some nights will have snacks, others wont.
Please be ontime when dropping off and picking up your child. We endeavour to start and finish on time.
We have a Cub group that starts soon after weíve finished our
Covid - All parents that enter the Scout Hall, even for only a short time, must sign in with the Service NSW app on the front door and use the hand sanitiser. All the Joeys will be asked to use the hand sanitiser also. Currently joeys are not allowed inside the hall.
Facebook - This is a closed group. We put most of our communication on there and photos of the night. If the weather looks like it might rain, and we have a scheduled outdoor activity, it will probably be moved to the hall. Please check on FB before you come to find out.
